When fishing Lake Lanier, Hammond’s Fishing Center is your full service live bait and tackle shop.  Bait and tackle has been available at this location since 1986.  We have by far the largest inventory offered on Lake Lanier.  We are seriously committed to serving the fishing community by supplying all of your bait and tackle needs for all kinds of fishing, whether it be crappie, catfish, bream, spotted bass, largemouth bass, striper, walleye, or gar we carry it all.  The bait and tackle shop is locally owned and the owner’s roots are firmly planted here at Hammond’s Crossing.  Our knowledgeable staff has many years of fishing experience on Lake Lanier, and we also keep up with all of the new products by attending fishing trade shows traveling to many other states. You can also get daily Lake Lanier fishing reports on our forum. We offer many types of live bait at our shop, including minnows, worms, crickets, Blue Back Herring, and Live Trout.  The Live Trout are seasonal usually stocked from fall to spring.   Our hours reflect our dedication to the fishermen.  We are open 364 days a year closing only on Christmas day.
