![]() ![]() Not really much has changed in the past two reports. Still fishing 40/100 foot bottoms. Finding fish on the finder is becoming easier everyday. Sometimes these fish can be a little picky. Power reeling your downlines or a 2 oz bucktail tipped with herring can sometimes trigger the fish to eat. Last edited by JHammond; 07-27-2010 at 02:09 PM. |

Jason would get shots like that with an 80s version hummingbird, it never fails year after year
. If you read this Jason I do have a question about what transduecer you use? When I switched from my old unit to an hds I left my original transduecer on they told me it took a narrower but more clear beam in shallow water but there wasn't that big a difference in deep water as far as the radius but Im not so sure. |

Caught a bunch this evening between 3:00-7:00. Same pattern and same good size schools. All the fish were from the mouth of big creek to Tidwell. Jake I still have the transducer from my lcx27 on my boat and it reads fine. In fact it's the same lowrance part # as the hds transducer. What makes the two different is in the units.

Im gonna go this weekend and fish the after noon but might only be able to use my 12 foot john boat and not the 21ft center console. In the process of punting new bearings in the drums.
